Today an online user on the popular internet board '4chan' has claimed to have hacked twitch and has delivered a large file of data for download which seems to be data containing many private internal files from the company 'Twitch'.
What is twitch?
Twitch is an american online video streaming service which mostly focuses on the gaming industry, the company twitch is 10 years old but without a doubt is one of the most popular streaming services available.
What happened?
It looks like there was a data breach, exactly how this was achived is yet to be determined but we will update this page as soon as we know more.

About 128 GB worth of data.
What kind of data does this leak contain?
Source Codes to parts of the twitch websites and functions and different versions of the twitch phone application, references about competitors, payouts of some twitch users encrypted credentilas and account information.
The magnitude of the impact
The main impact likely lays at the twitch company as major reputation and financial damage and with the users as their credentials have been leaked, the exact severity will be more clear in the coming days.
What the hacker had to say about this
According to the hacker his motive is as following:
“foster more disruption and competition in the online video streaming space” because “their community is a disgusting toxic cesspool”.
